Over 500 cadets participate in Nagrota NCC camp

JAMMU: An awareness-cum-demonstration programme was held at the NCC camping ground, Nagrota, in Jammu on Thursday in which over 500 cadets participated.

Jammu, September 11

An awareness-cum-demonstration programme was held at the NCC camping ground, Nagrota, in Jammu on Thursday in which over 500 cadets participated.

The camp was organised by the Civil Defence, Jammu, under the supervision of Deputy SP Shashi Thakur, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu, where the cadets were made aware of the knowledge of first aid, CPR, chocking, firefighting, flood rescue and other emergency rescue methods along with demonstration by Civil Defence instructors. Colonel Sukhbir Singh Asala, Commanding Officer, appreciated the role of the Civil Defence organisation and applauded the team for organising such an important awareness-cum-demonstration programme. — OC
