JAMMU: Shakti Raj Parihar, BJP MLA from Doda, today slammed National Conference leader and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah for his controversial remarks showing sympathy with separatists.



Jammu, December 8

Shakti Raj Parihar, BJP MLA from Doda, today slammed National Conference leader and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah for his controversial remarks showing sympathy with separatists.

Parihar said Farooq Abdullah was frustrated after losing power in the state and over the fact that it was returning to normalcy following months of unrest.

“He is speaking the language of Pakistan. He is unable to digest the return of normalcy in the state. In his greed for power, he is doing this vote bank politics and can go to any extent for the lust of power,” said Parihar.

The MLA has returned to Jammu after conducted a 10-day tour of his constituency where he held number of public darbars with officers of district administration to redress the people’s grievances.

He held public darbars at Purshola, Kolda, Dondli, Jodhpur, Kanahal, Malhori, Harira, Udhianpur and many other parts of his constituency. — TNS
