Jammu, June 13
A tipper driver was killed in Kishtwar district on Thursday when his vehicle skidded off the track and rolled down into a deep gorge.
The incident took place in Palmar area of Kishtwar in the afternoon. The deceased driver has been identified as Sajjad Hussain of Kuchal. Immediately after the incident, locals and rescue teams came into action and shifted him to a nearby hospital. Meanwhile, an unidentified female body was recovered from Neeru Nullah in Bhalla area of Doda and the police were trying to ascertain her identity. — OC
