SRINAGAR: A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) trooper fell unconscious after his service rifle went off accidentally here on Saturday.

Srinagar, March 23 

A Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) trooper fell unconscious after his service rifle went off accidentally here on Saturday.

Police said a SSB trooper on guard duty in Sonawar area of the Capital fell unconscious after his service rifle went off accidentally.

"The bullet hit the wall after the service rifle of an SSB guard went off accidentally in Sonawar area. 

"He was taken to a hospital in an unconscious condition where doctors said his condition is stable as he had fainted due to shock", police said. — IANS
