Woman killed, 21 injured in road accident in J&K’s Reasi

JAMMU: A woman pilgrim died and 21 people were injured when a minibus fell into Balani nullah near Katra after being hit by a bus and autorickshaw.

The injured were rushed to a Katra hospital where six of them were referred to GMC Jammu in view of their serious condition.

A woman pilgrim died and 21 people were injured when a minibus fell into Balani nullah near Katra after being hit by a bus and autorickshaw.

The injured were rushed to a Katra hospital where six of them were referred to GMC Jammu in view of their serious condition.

The accident took place on Wednesday night when the bus on its way from Shiv Khori to Katra hit a stranded autorickshaw and a minibus on the Balani bridge.

Due to collision, the woman pilgrim in the autorickshaw died on the spot while the minibus fell into the deep gorge resulting in injuries to 21 passengers, all pilgrims on their way to Katra after performing darshan at Shiv Khori.
