In this day and age of social media, uploading pictures on such platforms has become a trend. People upload pictures of their food, their daily beauty regime, shopping videos and dancing videos. On account of social media's expanding sway on people, they need to consistently put their best self forward, and that's where the role of a stylist comes into the picture. If given a thought haven’t we all played this role of a stylist at one point of time in our lives? It might have been for a companion, kin or be it for our own selves.

Styling includes shopping for someone else, picking props and accessories alongside garments. It includes meeting various individuals, knowing them inside out, knowing what will suit a specific body as per shape and skin tone, knowing his/her character, tastes, likings, disliking and comfort zone.

Style is more character than garments, more attitude than luxuriousness. It's you making noticeable your inner self.

Style goes past fashion; it is an exclusively particular method of assembling ourselves. It is a novel mix of soul and substance — individual character forced on, and made through, the universe of things. It is a method of catching something energetic, saying something about ourselves in style. It is the one thing that individuals truly need when they try to be in vogue.

Style is likewise one section character: spirit, verve, attitude, wit, imagination. It requests the craving and certainty to communicate whatever mind-set one wishes. Such fluctuation isn't just essential yet an impression of an individual's unique complexity as a person. People need to act naturally and to be seen as themselves. To work, style must mirror the real self, the character and persona of the individual; anything less seems to be just an outfit.

Fashion styling in simple terms is curating a complete look for an individual or a well-known person. As basic as the term sounds, it absolutely isn't easy. Furthermore, it is unquestionably not a task finished spontaneously and sans exactness.

Being a fashion stylist takes commitment, hard work, and the capacity to organise and put to use numerous last-minute plans. As a stylist, you are answerable for the sort of impression a public figure projects on the world. Their overall look, the outfits, the style, hair and makeup lie in your grasp, which is actually the motivation behind why it's an occupation with colossal obligation and tasteful sensibilities.

Fashion styling is a profession which has its base in practical learning as opposed to hypothetical learning. There are numerous fashion styling courses that one can take up to get a better perspective as to how to broaden one’s career options.

For that very reason, beginning your career in styling through fashion internships or helping a stylist/designer is the most effective route to arriving at the pinnacle of the circle.

This is one of the most stylish vocations to take up. One can function as an image consultant, do styling for big names, or engage in personal or brand styling. One can begin from being an assistant fashion stylist where he/she can help any established fashion stylist. Later with experience, he/she can begin his/her own styling venture. There is additional scope for turning into a fashion editor, photo stylist, and personal facilitator.

It's true that style doesn't have a decisive effect, yet it isn't devoid of substance, either.
