Aashlesha selected for CERN programme

Aashlesha Sharma, a student of 3rd year BTech (Mechanical) at Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (MRIIRS) has been selected as a technical student at CERN, the world''s largest nuclear and particle physics laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland on a monthly stipend of 3283 CHF (Rs 2,24,130.05).

Aashlesha Sharma, a student of 3rd year BTech (Mechanical) at  Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies (MRIIRS) has been selected as a technical student at CERN, the world's largest nuclear and particle physics laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland on a monthly stipend of 3283 CHF (Rs 2,24,130.05). Only five Indian students have been selected for this prestigious programme. These include three students from IITs, one student from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and one from MRIIRS.

Aashlesha Sharma will be working at CERN for a year under the supervision of Eric Montesinos, Team Leader- Radio Frequency at CERN. — TNS
