CCSHAU to start 1-yr diploma in Agrochemicals and Fertilisers at three colleges

Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar will soon introduce a one-year diploma in Agrochemicals and Fertilisers for the first time.

Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson of the university said that a total of 30 seats had been earmarked for this one-year diploma at each execution centre i.e. College of Agriculture Hisar, College of Agriculture Kaul (Kaithal) and College of Agriculture Bawal (Rewari), out of which 20 per cent will be reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, 27 per cent for Backward Caste and 10 per cent for Economically Weaker Sections.

He said that the eligibility criteria for the candidate is Class XII pass from any stream and the age should be between 18 and 55 years. 

He said that the diploma is of two-semesters and the admission will be done on the basis of marks obtained in Class XII and experience in the relevant field in the ratio of 80: 20. The experience in the relevant field should be a minimum of six months and maximum two years.
