Lok Sabha Research  Fellowships 2018-19

Toenthuse researchers with the opportunity to undertake research of high standards on parliamentary themes, Lok Sabha Secretariat is offering fellowships for two-years in the same. 

Eligibility: The applying candidate should not be less than 25 years and not more than 70 years of age on the last date of application, with post- graduation degree in any social science discipline with outstanding research publications and academic record in any discipline related to parliamentary studies or expert in his or her area of interest.

Prizes & Rewards: INR 10L will be given for writing books and contingency grant of INR 50K for purchase of journals, books, stationaries, travel and other relate expenses. The grant will be given in installments upon satisfactory progress of the project.

Marubeni India Meritorious Scholarship 2017-18

Appreciating talent, merit and empathizing with need, Marubeni India invites applications under this call to back bright students with financial assistance.

Eligibility: Applicant must be pursuing under-graduation in professional or technical course from any recognized educational institute in Punjab, including Chandigarh, with minimum 75% in class 12 in last academic session. The applicant must not be beneficiary of any other scholarship more than INR 6000 p.m. and family income INR 2L p.a. to be considered for this scholarship. 

Prizes & Rewards: INR 40,000 will be given for current academic session.

Vel Tech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship 2018

Students planning to pursue their higher education after class 12who are meritorious and have proven their caliber with academic excellence are invited under this scholarship to avail financial assistance for hassle-free continuation of their studies. The candidate will have to appear in the VTUEEE examination.

Eligibility: Students having cleared class 12 or appearing for the same in the coming examination of 2018 can apply for this scholarship. 

Prizes & Rewards: Toppers of PCM and BPC will get 100% tuition fee waiver. Students who secure more than 95% will get 75% waiver in tuition fee, 90-94.9% scorers will get 50% waiver in tuition fee, 80- 89.9% will be given 25% scholarship towards their tuition fee and the ones who score between 70- 79.9% will be eligible for 10% off on tuition fee. Top rank holders will get varying tuition fee waiver based on their position in VTUEEEexamination.

Humanities and Social Sciences Scholarship, IIT Gandhinagar 2018

Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar is accepting applications for scholarships for M.A. in Humanities and Social Sciences. This is offered to provide critical ability to approach the world and its challenges. 

Eligibility: Candidate holding graduation degree or waiting for their results of final year  from any discipline, but secure 55% or equivalent in GPA or CPI in graduation to be eligible for this scholarship.

Prizes & Rewards: Candidates securing a seat will receive INR 5000 p.m., travel grant of up to INR 60K and hostel accommodation on sharing basis. Candidates belonging to reservation category can also apply based on the guidelines of UGC or Supreme Court of India.
