Xavier School of Management (XLRI) is inviting applications for admission to its three-year part-time weekend programme – Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) for working executives & business owners for the 2019 to 2022 session. 

The AICTE-approved post-graduate diploma programme has been designed to provide a general management perspective to the participants. The programme comprises 900 hours of coursework interaction, spread over three years to accommodate the time constraints of working executives and business owners.  

Eligibility: Candidates having three years bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognised by a university or a Deemed University and a minimum work experience of two years in managerial/supervisory /executive/ownership role  as on April 30, 2019 are eligible to apply for this programme. Candidates who have completed the four-year bachelors degree in any engineering are also eligible to apply. The candidate must have a score of 50 per cent or more marks (or its equivalent GPA) in the above programmes. 

Fee: The fees of the programme amounts to Rs 10.72 lakh, is payable in instalments as decided by the institute. 

Selection criteria:  Candidates are to be selected through a written aptitude test on April 7, 2019.

IGNOU MPhil and PhD 

The application process of the MPhil and PhD from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has begun. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website and apply, ignou.ac.in. to apply. MPhil. programmes are available in chemistry, commerce, journalism and mass communication, translation studies and PhD programmes in bio-chemistry, chemistry, commerce, English, education, environmental science, fine arts, gender and development studies, geology, Hindi, journalism and mass communication, management, music, rural development, social work, statistics, translation studies, women’s studies.

The IGNOU research programmes are offered (Regular Mode) in strict compliance with University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D./M.Phil. Degrees) Regulations, 2016.

Eligibility: Applicants will have to clear an entrance examination for admission to the same. The exam will be conducted on April 7, 2019.
