SRM-Tufts University collaboration on the cards

SRM University AP, Amaravati and Tufts University, USA, are coming together to collaborate for substantive discussion amongst Higher Education leadership at the highest level.



SRM University AP, Amaravati and Tufts University, USA, are coming together to collaborate for substantive discussion amongst Higher Education leadership at the highest level. In this regard a Higher Education Roundtable will be held in New Delhi on January 14,  to discuss the evolution of Higher Education, Global Collaborations and Trends and Challenges faced by the sector. A delegation from Tufts is on a 10-day visit to India to work on collaborations across a variety of sectors. “This SRM AP –Tufts roundtable will allow for substantive discussion amongst Higher Education leadership at the highest level. We are hopeful that the collaborative approach will help us identify key issues and challenges and focus on creating partnerships that are mutually beneficial and further thecause of higher education, not just in India, but globally”, said Dr. Jamshed Bharucha, Vice-Chancellor, SRM University AP. — TNS

Vet Varsity student bags Bayer's scholarship

Nishchal Dutta, a PhD scholar of the Department of  Veterinary Pathology of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), has got the prestigious Bayer's scholarship 2018 funded by Bayer, a German multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences company. He is doing his research work under Dr. H. S. Banga as Major Advisor. The selection was made on the basis of online test which was followed by personality test. He will be awarded Rs 50,000 to pursue his PhD. — TNS
