Kangra college HoD deputed as NIFT director

Puneet Sood, head of the information and technology department of Government Polytechnic College, Kangra, has been posted as the campus director of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kannur, in Kerala.

Official sources said the state government had relieved Sood from here to join the new assignment in Kerala, where he is scheduled to join tomorrow.

Anil Sood, Principal, Government Polytechnic College, today said Puneet Sood had been sent on deputation as the campus director for three years. He said his posting was first of its kind from here. Puneet was earlier working in the Central University Himachal Pradesh and Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College at Nagrota Bagwan.
