How has been your experience working in Love Aaj Kal?

It was a great as I have never seen a Punjabi speaking Gujarati. For this series, I learned a lot of Gujarati slangs from my friends like Prashant and it was a fun process. The directors on the set told us to explore ourselves and I am happy that I was able to do many scenes in just one take.

How was it shooting in Manali?

It was a completely new experience for me as we were shooting outdoors in Manali. The day when I was free, I used to go on trekking. I really enjoyed the location and the weather.

What do you have to say about the digital boom?

Digital platforms will increase with time as it has already grabbed the attention of the TV audience. I love the new concepts. The audience is attracted to digital platforms and they are increasing day by day as the quality of web series is increasing. It’s there to stay as the audience now wants to see some new concepts.

Personally, what kind of shows do you watch on web?

There are a lot of web series which I have watched and among that, I loved Lucifer as it was a completely new concept and they have given a totally different turn to a devil. The Walking Dead, Leila, Sacred Games, Mirzapur, Prison Break, Stranger Things are among my favourites.

The content on the internet is very bold. How bold are you willing to go as an actor?

Of course, if the script requirement is there and if I feel that the scene is important then I will go for it.

With so many web shows, new talent is entering the industry. Do you agree that this will increase competition?

For the web series, they have very strict procedures. The casting directors are doing a wonderful job. It all depends on the performance and the luck of the actors.
