‘I make my own style statement’

‘I make my own style statement’

Jasmine Singh

Being the son of cult Punjabi singer Surjit Bindrakhia is not easy. Living up to the legacy is a task, the one Gitaz is pulling off pretty well. When it comes to music and style, the Punjabi singer makes it a point that everything is under control…

Fashion mantra

Although it is all about attitude, the swag comes from how one carries oneself, and here clothes and styling play important roles.

Hair today

I am paranoid about my hair being in the right place. Even though there are bad hair days, they are countable. I take care of hair pretty regularly, which means I avoid using chemicals.

Accessory wise

Shoes are the word here. I am crazy about shoes, and if I see a good pair of shoes there is a rare possibility that I won’t buy them.

Brand no bar

I do believe in street fashion but at the same time, I am a brand person. Or let’s say I like to maintain class in whatever I wear.

That one thing...

Black and blue, these are two colours that are in bulk in my wardrobe. It wouldn’t be wrong to say these are the only two colours that I feel strongly attracted to.

Colour code

I am pretty much a colour coordinated person, I don’t take dressing easy. I feel it is a responsibility to be an artiste and I try to live up to it.

Watch out

Yes, I like to get watches as a gift and these are the ones that I like to wear.

Going casual

Jeans and tee, or kurta pyjama, there can be no other casual attire that I would be like to be found in.

Formal cut

I am not a very formal wear person, though I like to slip into a neat suit as per the occasion. Ill-fitted suits are a big no for me.

I follow

I have my own style. Trendsetters don’t follow, they make their own style statement.
