‘Social media is part of life’

Gurbani Gill agrees to the importance of social media in one’s life, but she also says that one should not be addicted to it. The actress, who is seen in movie Dear Molly, says, “Social media should not be taken so seriously, because it’s just one part of your life, not your entire life. Social media is a great platform to connect, share and express. And, as an actor, you can influence and draw attention to important issues as well. Social media is a great way for an actor to connect with people, be it for a professional or personal cause that depends from individual to individual!”

The actress says that popularity on social media does not reflect the talent of an artist. “I think talent is something that is described by the craft of an artist. It has nothing to do with social media. Talent is independent of social media popularity. There are a lot of underrated artists out there also. Like I said, social media should not be taken so seriously!” she adds.
