Ajaz fights back

Ajaz Khan is one actor who wouldn't think twice before giving anyone a piece of his mind. A self-proclaimed crusader, he was loved and hated in equal measure in the reality show Bigg Boss where he finished at an impressive third. Soon, you will see this model-actor in a role that suits him just fine. Ajaz plays the lead in crime series Savdhaan India - India Fights Back.

"It is a very good effort, alerts people and prepares them to fight back," says Ajaz mentioning that Savdhaan India is his mother's favourite show. "The series warns 'Dikhave par na jao, apni akal lagao, and I am glad I became a part of it."

The year 2015 is a happening one for the actor as three of his films get slated for release and there is another show on Life OK, Comedy Classes. "It's in a funny vein that spoofs the film Dil To Pagal Hai."

Interestingly, a television actor Ajaz doesn't watch much TV, but yes, Bigg Boss is what he sees whenever the season is on. One thing during his stint at the Bigg Boss house Ajaz claims to have learnt is to 'lie'.

"Once you are on air, those along with you wouldn't care any less if you are telling the truth. Rather would take you on task if you happen to share any of your weaknesses. I learnt to go along with the tide while I was there," but in the same breath he also says that telling lies is also what he unlearnt after the show. "Though I tried it but I was never comfortable with not stating what I actually felt. So, soon after the show I got back to the original me."

The actual 'him' is a straightforward person, one to stand for his rights, ready to teach the elders the right from the wrong just as they tell the young; charitable, family oriented and spiritual.

"Look I have got lots from society and what thrills me now is to give something back," says the actor.

In the industry where show-off rules, Ajaz hasn't got along with many. "Sangram is my only friend, he is from a village, straight and simple and one can bank on him. Otherwise, people who first use you and then call you stupid are the ones who get admired here." But then that's not stopping Ajaz from beating his own drum.
