Sushant Singh Rajput in Chhichhore

Last week, the makers of Chhichhore announced its wrap up in a grand manner with a song shoot. The film, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, is set in two eras — the 1990s and 2019. However, we hear that an important scene between Sushant and Varun Sharma that is part of the 2019 set-up was yet to be shot. So, the two actors will be flying to London for the same. A source says that initially the makers had planned to film the scene in Chroma, as it’s only a six-hour shoot.

However, producer Sajid Nadiadwala felt that they should shoot on actual locations. “Sajid loves London as a destination. So, he tries to include it in all his films. Be it the Housefull franchise, Judwaa 2 and now Chhichhore, the English capital has always served as a backdrop. Frankly, another producer would have compromised but Sajid is one of those who doesn’t believe in cutting corners. So, though the shoot is merely for six hours, director Nitesh Tiwari and Sajid felt, the actors should fly to the UK “just for the experience.”
