From being a CA to working on TV, how has your journey been?
Before coming to India, I gave up my career of chartered accountant to follow my passion for acting. Luckily, I bagged a Star Plus’ show Ek Aastha Aisi Bhi. And now I am doing my second show with the channel. A big project for me and I am really riding high these days.
What drew you to this show?
My selection of roles is open-minded. I found the role of Ishani very powerful. I am going to give it my 100 per cent.
Are you are working with Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam for the first time?
Yes; both are good and cooperative. Shrenu is quite sweet and pretty girl. We have very good chemistry on the sets.
Were you appreciated for your debut role?
Yes and I am really grateful that the viewers have accepted me. But there is more to prove in the coming days.
How has life changed after taking on this show?
My day starts and ends with the unit. My life revolves around the show now.
Do you consider acting as a secure profession?
I do not think so. Deep down, every actor is a bit insecure. You never know what is in store after a show ends.
Will we see you in films?
Television is a big industry and I am comfortable with it, but it will be a bonus if I get a good film.
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion is style, along with comfort.
When not shooting, what do you do?
I keep singing when I take a break on the sets and also love to read books.
Do you follow a fitness regimen?
Yes, I have a fitness regimen in place. I take light food when on sets and make sure I drink adequate amount of water each day.
