The makers of Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra-starrer Badhaai Ho have pre-poned the film’s release by a day. The movie will now hit cinema halls on October 18 instead of Friday.

Ayushmann shared the news on his Twitter handle with a poster of new release date and wrote, “Itni jaldi thi kya aapko nanhe mehmaan se milneki? Toh mil lo phir, ek din pehle hi. Now #BadhaaiHo to release in cinemas on Thu, 18th Oct.”

While the makers are focusing to encash the long Dussehra weekend, with this shift, they have also avoided clash with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Namastey England by a day. Interestingly, Badhaai Ho is Ayushmann’s second release in October after Andhadhun, which was a success at the box office. Not just that, the actor is on a roll and has just signed up another film titled Googly. Ayushmann will be seen opposite Nushrat Bharucha of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame in Googly.
