Is Trump-Kim hard to digest?

Some people enjoy popularity, others, like Donald Trump, suffer from it. A photograph of the US President from the G7 summit is breaking the net and it seems to perfectly sum up the state of affairs: It’s Trump against the world! Even as he met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un amicably at the Singapore summit on Tuesday, netizens would just not let him ‘bee’. Yes, our social-media stalker, bee, has been scrolling through Instagram and Trump-Kim memes have gone viral. But bee’s just warming up yet; it’s been beehiving itself for a ritzy tea party with its elitist wanna-bees. As it prepares a nectar punch for the snooty, bourgeois bees, while explaining to them the global socio-political scenario, they bring up far more pressing issues. 

Dress the stress out 

“Did you see Priyanka’s dress at Nick Jonas’s cousin’s wedding? She’s so classy. I love the couple. They’ve gone viral,” says the nauseatingly hyper-excited Wormès. But, Drada interrupts midway: “Talking of classy, did you see Meghan Markle’s bare-shoulder dress as she made her trooping the colour debut on Saturday? It was ridiculous and how that poor girl was trolled online! Things you can’t get away with even if you are married to a rich man. Get a rich deal for yourself too, bee!” Along with Kucchi and Murmerry, the bees get down to chasing the reaction that this big news garnered on social media:

For those who love British tradition, dignity, and history, #MeghanMarkle is a disaster. Another instance of American arrogance and liberal feminist, she breaks protocol with her dress again. She only thinks of herself and snubs the British. @KensingtonRoyal

But then, there were some who trolled the self-appointed fashion police right back. “I feel fashion shamming is the worst thing. Some even feel that Justin Trudeau wore fake eyebrows at G7 summit,” the subversive bee responds, agitated and flustered.

But bee’s friends are all about making the big look better. “India defeated Kenya 2-0 to lift the Intercontinental Cup at Mumbai Football Arena on Sunday. My husband won the bet and he’s now taking me for a trip to Europe,” Murmerry shouts with joy as Kucchi rejects all food because it spotted a cockroach at bee’s hive. “But it’s a jungle in here,” the bee tries to reason, in vain.

Gandhi was trying to take a jibe at PM Modi and make a point that while big businessmen are given privileges, farmers are being ignored. Soon with hashtag #AccordingToRahulGandhi meme-makers took a sarcastic route. “Also, Shahid Afridi has tamed a lion at his house. Sh*t rich people do!” laughs Funky.
