Priyanka Chopra’s first Karva Chauth was memorable in many ways. The global icon fasted during her husband-American singer Nick Jonas’ concert in Los Angeles.
Draping a red sari, Priyanka shared a picture with her Nick. The 37-year-old was seen wearing traditional red bangles and sindoor, hugging her husband.
She wrote: “Karwa chauth at a @jonasbrothers concert. Definitely a first I’ll always remember!@nickjonas #karwachauth.”
Nick wasn’t far behind in sharing an appreciation post for his better-half. The singer said: “My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!”
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in December last year. The couple honoured both Hindu and Christian traditions in their wedding.
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli celebrated his second KarvaChauth with actress-wife, Anushka Sharma. The couple stated that they chose to fast together.
Anushka shared a picture with Virat on Instagram. She wrote: “My partner for lifetime & beyond and my fasting partner for the day. Happy karvachauth to all”.
The actress was seen wearing a traditional red sari, with bangles and sindoor, holding her husband’s arm.
The Indian cricketer also shared a few pictures. He wrote: “The ones who fast together laugh together. Happy karvachauth.”
After being in a steady relationship for over four years, the couple tied the knot on December 11, 2017. Their wedding was followed by grand receptions in Delhi and Mumbai.
