One tower, two warriors

It takes the dark to appreciate the light, the night to feel the day, the black to notice the white and the evil to value the good. Diving into this dichotomy, &flix is set to premiere the fantasy-adventure The Dark Tower this Sunday at 1 pm & 9 pm. Directed and co-written by Nikolaj Arcel, the film is centred around Idris Elba as Ronald Deschain, Matthew McConaughey who plays his arch-enemy Walter Padick and Jake Chambers as Tom Taylor. Jake, an average New York teenager has some troubling dreams of a parallel universe called Mid-World. Taking cues from his visions, Jake finds an abandoned house with a peculiar machine that turns out to be a portal to Mid-World. Venturing into this mystery land, Jake chances upon Ronald and shares with him about his dreams of The Dark Tower – the one that holds the universe together.
