Here comes historical period drama set in 1927 titled as Downtown Abbey for the viewers.  Julian Fellowes pens the story and is creator and writer of the TV series of the same name. The feel-good film of the year is a continuing story of the Crawley family, wealthy owners of a large estate in the English countryside in the early 20th century.

This 122 minutes runtime film is shot in the widescreen 2.39:1 “scope” aspect ratio, unlike the television series which was shot in 16:9. Featuring Jim Carter, Hugh Bonneville, Michael Dockery, Elizabeth McGovem, Maggie Smith, Imelda Stauton and Penelope Wilton, it promises to be a perfect period drama.
