Pascal joins Star Wars’ series

Pedro Pascal has been roped-in to play the lead in Star Wars’ TV series The Mandalorian. The Game of Thrones and Narcos star had previously been rumoured for the role, but sources say he was one of many actors being considered. Now, sources reveal that he has been offered the role and negotiations are underway. Pascal has been in many big projects lately and having a Star Wars’ series in the bag would surely add to his lucrative line-up of projects. 

The Mandalorian will be the first Star Wars show on Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney+. It has an impressive list of directors on board, including Star Wars guru Dave Filoni, Thor Ragnarok’s Taika Waititi, and Jurassic World’s Bryce Dallas Howard, among others.
