Punjabi tuitions for Disha Patani

Disha Patani will next be seen in Ekta Kapoor’s film, which will be written by Raaj Shaandilyaa and directed by Ashima Chibber. For the first time, Disha will be seen as a small-town Punjabi girl and the actress is leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of her character. While she has already begun her basic preparations, we hear that she will be taking language classes and invest two hours of her time to learn Punjabi for this film.

Disha shares, “This film is a crackling comedy and I am super-excited to get into the shoes of my character. I will be essaying the role of a small-town Punjabi girl and am excited to learn the language. I need to make sure I can bring out the Punjabi in me, not only through my appearance and gestures but also through my dialect. It is an interesting character and a comical, quirky story-line and I am hoping to do full justice to it. This project being my first collaboration with Ekta ma’am is all the more special for me and I am looking forward to the shoot schedule.”
