Sui Dhaaga – A perfect stitch

The trailer of Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma-starrer Sui Dhaaga – Made In India, is out and the film is just a perfect stitch! 

With simple, real and rustic looks of Anushka and Varun, the film promises to be highly inspirational and completely devoid of gloss. In the film, Varun plays Mauji, a tailor from Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, while Anushka plays Varun’s wife Mamta. The film is about finding love and respect through self-reliance. 

The trailer shows Mauji as a salesman at a shop that sells sewing machines. He is unable to find work as a tailor and therefore has to suffer the whims of his master. Wife Mamta hates watching him get humiliated all the time and wants him to start working on his own. Towards the end, the couple are able to start their own handloom factory from the scratch in Ghaziabad. Written and directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma, the film is set to release on September 28.
