Keeping her fans updated about her fight with cancer, Actor Sonali Bendre who is undergoing treatment for the same was seen sporting a new hair style.

In her sixth "SwitchOnTheSunshine" post in Instagram, she thanked her hairstylist Bok-Hee for being with her all throughout in the battle against cancer.

The 'Sarfarosh' actor posted three pictures; wherein one of them Bok-Hee is seen styling her newly grown hair.

Speaking about her new friend, she said, "Sometimes, in the most unlikely of circumstances" one tends to meet strangers who "very quickly becomes a friend. One such person is @bokheehair, genius hairstylist and wigmaker."

Thanking Bok-Hee for helping her indulge in new hairstyles, Bendre further said that, "She has been absolutely amazing; indulging me with various looks... short hair or long hair. She's been so understanding, supportive and empathetic throughout it all".

"Thank you so so much Bokhee, I can't tell you how much our sessions together mean to me. You truly are an angel. #SwitchOnTheSunshine ??????" she added.

It was in her first post in the series back on July 10, Sonali sported a short bob cut hair when the treatment for the dreaded disease had just begun.

Here the 43-year-old star wrote, "In the words of my favourite author Isabel Allende, "We don't even know how strong we are until we are forced to bring that hidden strength forward. In times of tragedy, of war, of necessity, people do amazing things. The human capacity for survival and renewal is awesome."

It was on July 04 that the actress took to social media to open up about her disease.

She is one of the few celebrities who were diagnosed with the dreaded disease, alongside Lisa Ray, Irrfan Khan, Manisha Koirala, Yuvraj Singh, and Mumtaz. — ANI
