Proud of: Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. Our jawans work selflessly to keep us safe. I salute their service and integrity towards the nation.
Ashamed of: That even after so many incidents of rapes and molestation, we are still thinking of a stricter punishment and haven’t implemented one.
Favourite patriotic film: Border.
Indian I look up to: Our ex-president APJ Abdul Kalam.
Innate wisdom
Kriti Kharbanda, actress
The actress is among the current generation of Bollywood beauties. She can raise pertinent questions as well as dance to the tunes of pallo latke.
Proud of: Diversity, the way it exists in India.. Many won’t agree but there is a lot of unity in our country and I choose to look at the bright side.
Ashamed of: The rape ‘culture’. It breaks my heart. That’s something I am really ashamed of.
Favourite patriotic film: Border.
Indian I look up to: I don’t think I have met a more patriotic person than my mother.
Change the attitude

The National Award-winner has always been vocal about her opinions; it could be something as simple as a rude fellow countryman or a polite passenger. She shares what unsettles her.
Proud of: The warmth in our culture, something that is inherent in our Indian culture; it makes me feel special as an Indian.
Ashamed of: We break rules, even if they are really simple to follow. That chalta hai attitude needs to change.
Favourite patriotic film: The old Shaheed; every time I see that film I cry. I love its songs too.
