Vatsal reclaims his chocolate-boy image

Vatsal Sheth, who was last seen in the TV show, Kaun Hai, is set to join the cast of Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke (YRHPK).

After several outings as the anti-hero, the actor is turning positive with this show. He says, “With this show, I am looking forward to getting back to my chocolate-boy image, the one I had in Just Mohabbat and the film, Tarzan — The Wonder Car. It feels great and different.”

Talking about his character in YRHPK, he adds, “I play an NRI, an old friend of the heroine, and my entry will bring surprises and twists.”

It’s not just the makers, but even his wife, Ishita Dutta, loves him more in negative roles. Ask him about it and he replies, “Yes, that’s true. Honestly, playing negative roles is much more fun, because there are no restrictions.”
