Actor Kunal Verma talks about fatherhood and family
Kunal Verma, who recently made a return to television after a seven-year break, is currently seen playing the role of Vihan in the popular Star Plus show Jhanak. While his career has seen its fair share of successes, it’s his personal life that has truly shaped his outlook in recent years.
Verma, who became a father to a son Krishav, has learned to strike a balance between his career and family life. "Work is important to me, but being a good human being and spending quality time with my family is just as vital," he says. His time away from television, especially after Krishav’s birth, allowed him to reflect on what truly matters. "I’ve always been grateful for the time I got to spend at home, even taking charge of the kitchen sometimes. It has been a rewarding experience," he shares.
As Jhanak continues to attract viewers, Kunal is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a meaningful project, while also cherishing his role as a father. "Both phases—when I wasn’t working and now, when I am—are important to me. I give my 100 per cent to everything in my life, whether it’s my career or family," he concludes.
