Comparison factor...

Ever since the makers of Panipat have released the trailer of the film, the fans have expressed how it reminded them of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. While Arjun Kapoor was compared to Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao, Kriti Sanon’s Parvati Bai was compared to Priyanka Chopra’s Kashi Bai. Talking about the same, Kriti says, “I was expecting comparisons when I signed the film. Padmaavat too was compared to Baahubali. The period of Panipat and Bajirao is similar. The setting is similar because the Peshwas lived in Shaniwar Wada, and they dressed in a certain way. But the characters are different.”

Kriti recently met Priyanka Chopra at a party and the two leading ladies of their respective films had a little discussion about the same. Kriti even clicked a selfie with the actress and captioned it saying, “When Parvati Bai met Kashi Bai!” The actress hopes that the audience would watch the film and then understand that these are two different characters altogether.
