Here’s why Anushka Sharma did not celebrate her birthday

Bollywood star Anushka Sharma took to her social media account on Sunday and shared the reason why she did not celebrate her birthday this year (May 1). Anushka said she did not feel that a celebration was right amidst the pain and suffering. The actress will soon come together with her husband and launch a ‘movement’ to help Covid patients.

Anushka shared a video in which she said, “Hi guys, I hope you are safe. Just wanted to say a big ‘thank you’ to you all for all the lovely birthday wishes. Truly made my day special. But in the midst of all this pain and suffering, it just did not feel right for me to celebrate my birthday. I have seen your special messages for me and now I have an important message for you. I would like to appeal to everyone to unite and support our country in this hour of crisis. Virat and I will do our bit and we will share the details soon, so that you can also become a part of this movement. Remember we are all in this together.”
