Into a new zone: Gashmeer Mahajani talks about his small screen debut

After impressing the audience with his power-packed performances in Marathi and Hindi films, followed by his impressive stints in theatre and choreography, Gashmeer Mahajani is all-excited about his debut on the small screen with the upcoming TV show Imlie on Star Plus. With experience in the field of films and theatre, the talented actor is all set to take on a new world as he ventures into Hindi daily soaps.

Gashmeer says, “This is my first Hindi television show; I have previously been a part of films and theatre, hence this is a new format for me. The entire cast and crew have welcomed me with open arms and I feel comfortable. I have always waited for the right project to cross my path and Imlie is one such show that is perfect in every way for me to mark my debut on television.”

Premiering in November, the show will bring forth a unique triangular love story based on the life of a tribal girl, Imlie, who is unpolished yet knowledgeable, hailing from a small community based in the outskirts of UP.
