Learning never stops, says actress Muskaan Agarwal

Have you received any career-defining advice so far?

I haven’t received any advice till now. However, my friends appreciate that despite being from a non-industry background, I have achieved a lot. They find my journey commendable and inspiring.

What do you think are the biggest misconceptions people have about actors?

People think actors have a lot of money, but they don’t realise the hard work behind it. Viewers watch a show for 30 minutes or a film for three hours, but only actors know the number of working hours that go into it”

What does success mean to you?

Every day is a struggle and a new story. You can’t do one project and think you’ve made it. Even Amitabh Bachchan still works hard and continues doing films. Learning never stops.”

What are your views about competition in the industry?

I don’t think about competition because everyone has different personalities and skills. I focus on my own journey.”

Have you ever had moments of doubt in your career?

I feel happy doing what I do. Whatever I have received is because of destiny. These are just baby steps, and I believe in proving things through action rather than words.

How do you think the entertainment industry has evolved over time?

Earlier, things were more transparent. Now, people are chasing name, fame and money. I have learned a lot and it has affected my growth. It’s a nice phase now. I learn from the people around me. You can be a good actor only if you are learning every day.

What keeps you motivated in this challenging industry?

My love for acting and the desire to keep improving. Every new role teaches me something, and I want to keep growing as an artiste.

What are your future aspirations?

I want to explore diverse roles and push my boundaries as an actor. I don’t want to limit myself to one genre—I am open to experimenting and taking on new challenges.
