‘Marriage should never be forced, says TV actor Satya Tiwari

How will you define your character in Gupta Brothers?

My character is a soft-hearted guy. He is innocent and straightforward. He is loyal to his brothers.

How is the vibe on the sets?

The vibe on Gupta Brothers’ sets is friendly. There are ups and down in the team like every other team, but nobody leaves anyone behind.

How are you keeping yourself healthy?

I am trying to stay healthy by working out, getting good sleep and eating healthy food. I do yoga wherever I get a chance.

Hiten Tejwani is a big name in the industry. How is it sharing screen space with him?

In terms of acting we all know how good he is. He takes care of his co-actors.

What kind of support have you got from your family?

My family has been a great support system. If I am a chair, they are my four legs and that is why I am stable and standing here.

If not an actor what would you have been?

If not an actor, then I would have surely been a football player.

Who are the actors you look up to?

All great actors like Irrfan Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao and those who have made it big on their own.

Gupta Brothers are not getting married in the show. What is Satya’s idea of marriage?

If you don’t want to get married, then don’t. If you feel satisfied in life, then you don’t need a partner. That is what Shiv bhaiya and all of us are saying. Marriage should not be forced.
