Meet the new Mishti

What do you have to say about the new twist in the show?

The show portrays Mishti in a new light. Though it’s a little challenging to portray this side of Mishti, it’s fun too. The feedback from the viewers is overwhelming. So, we are glad that it’s working.

How is Mishti different from the characters you have played before?

So far I have played characters which are extrovert, but Mishti is an introvert and yet she is very smart.

This is the second time you are working with Ruslaan Mumtaz. How’s the experience?

There’s a comfort level as we already know each other. Ruslaan is a very sweet guy. Whenever he is on the sets, it’s a lot of fun.

Rajan Shahi is known as the king of relationships. What do you think?

Rajan sir is famous for creating great on-screen pairs. The chemistry comes out really well in his shows.

Shooting in the new normal is a challenge. Your comment!

It’s cumbersome to remove the mask and put it back on again. Also, we have to do our touch-up on our own.

Were you apprehensive of resuming shootings because of the pandemic?

I was a little apprehensive but I felt relived after we were briefed about the kind of precautions we were going to take on the sets.

Are you maintaining social distancing?

On the sets, I try to maintain social distancing as much as I can.
