Celebrating India’s 72nd Republic Day, the makers of the much-anticipated Mere Desh Ki Dharti revealed the first look of its lead star, the current digital rage Divyenndu Sharma. Over the years, Divyenndu has impressed with his entertaining acts in movies like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Mirzapur and is now all set for his next release. The film is a humorous yet inspirational take on the journey of a young engineer, Ajay, played by Divyenndu, and his friend Sameer, from being abject urban failures to icons of rural India.
Divyendu says, “This film is very close to my heart. I really want it to reach out to as many people as possible, especially the farmers. This is a special one for me and especially in the current scenario.”
