Global pop star Nick Jonas once again reminded fans that his love affair with India extends well beyond red carpets and sold-out concerts. In a recent Instagram reel, the singer is seen sampling a crisp dosa at a breakfast buffet, his expressions shifting from mild scepticism to clear approval. The caption was characteristically understated: “When they have dosa at the breakfast buffet.”

What truly elevated the reel was its soundtrack — Teri Dulhan Sajaungi, the romantic classic sung by Alka Yagnik and Kailash Kher and famously picturised on his wife, Priyanka Chopra. The song choice lent the moment a playful, personal subtext, transforming a casual breakfast bite into a knowing cultural wink.

This is not the first time Nick has showcased his fondness for Bollywood music. Over the years, he has been spotted vibing to Hindi tracks at public events, sharing desi tunes on social media and openly embracing Indian pop culture with an ease that feels organic rather than performative.

In under half a minute, a dosa, a nostalgic melody and a global pop icon managed to reaffirm a simple truth — that food, music and love remain the most universal connectors of all.
