STRAP: Sidharrth Sipani, who is currently a part of the web series Fariha, talks about his future endeavours and more

What is your role in Fariha?

I am playing Aarav, who works in a mobile company. It is a love story. Aarav is a simple man from the city of Bhopal.

What changes you want to bring in your career in 2021?

I want to bring more discipline into my work. It is said that discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment. If you are disciplined with your work, everything eventually falls into place and you are happier.

What kind of opportunities are you looking out for?

I am currently working on a project, which has been on my wish list since a while now. There are many more to come. There is no turning back now. I want to focus on moving forward and grabbing all the opportunities.

What you have learnt from your journey so far?

To believe in yourself and stay focused. Hard work will pay off one day. It is important to continue to work hard and be patient. You cannot give up in between.

With OTT, entertainment industry is going through a revolutionary phase. What’s your take?

The OTT platform is massive. The digitalisation of the industry has changed the way people watch analogue films. Today, the convergence of digital media is making the process of entertainment distribution much easier. Audiences are getting all kinds of genres.

What advice would you give to aspiring actors?

You need to follow your passion and do whatever makes you happy. Everything gets easier with time. There are days when your body gives up, you have sleepless nights but you need to keep going on.
