Marjaavaan is a Hindi romantic action film directed by Milap Zaveri and starring Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles.
One-time watch
The film is a bore. The dialogues are too poetic to be real. It seems the scriptwriter was so focused on rhyming the dialogues that he forgot about the plot. How can you add poetry to action scenes? At most I can say it is a one-time watch all because of its climax. I would give it two stars. — Rohit Dhiman, IT professional
Deshmukh shines
The only actor in the film was Riteish Deshmukh. Sidharth was average, maybe because the dialogues weren’t apt for him. Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet both look good in the film. Tara had no dialogues because she was shown speech impaired but she wins over you even with her silence. — Aman Sharma, student
No storyline
It was a pathetic movie. I don’t understand what made the producer say okay to the story. It’s not even a comedy that one can give the benefit of doubt for not having a storyline. It’s so depressing. — Bhuvan Singh, engineer
Nothing to take home
Sidharth may have looks but he doesn’t know how to act. He was overacting. Sadly, even Riteish Deshmukh has no meat to his character; he was very repetitive but better than Sidharth. There is just one song to the film that you’ll enjoy. — Kavita Garg, student

But when Binnu goes to Sargun`s house to ask for her hand in marriage, he is greeted with chaos. Will the couple get their family`s blessings?
Good fun
It’s a very funny movie. I kept laughing throughout. I like Binnu Dhillon the best, even Sargun Mehta looks good. They both live up to the title. This film will really make you Jhalle. — Surjit Singh, student
Nice concept
Jhalle is made on a different concept. All the actors have done well but Sargun’s acting is outstanding. I would give it three stars. — Malika Singh, student
A new genre
I really liked the film. It’s more like art cinema, something new for a Punjabi film. I had fun. Binnu and Sargun both look good together. — Shubhangi Arora, student
Makes no sense
It’s not a good film. So much drama and violence. I think there is no sense to the story. Who was man and who was normal, I kept wondering throughout. I didn’t like anyone’s acting. — Aarushi Sharma, student
Over the top
I think only Sargun’s acting is worth appreciating, rest the film is an exaggeration. Two of its songs are good. I would give it one star out of five. — Kashish Agarwal, student
