Like Akshardham, Ram Temple in 3 years, says trust

Jaipur, February 22

The proposed Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be ready within three or three-and-a-half years after construction starts, Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj, the treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said today. He said financial cooperation from devotees for constructing the temple would be accepted.

“Akshardham Temple was built in three years and so was the Statue of Unity. We too are thinking to build in three to three-and-a-half years a grand temple of Lord Ram at Ayodhya,” Giriji Maharaj told the media here.

“Going by the enthusiasm with which people send bricks, they will now also donate money and Lord Ram’s temple will be built with people’s funds and public support,” he added. —PTI
