‘Green belts to dot entire city’

LUDHIANA: In a bid to provide a greener look to Smart City, Ludhiana, the Punjab Government would be developing green belts and parks in different parts of the city.



Ludhiana, June 13

In a bid to provide a greener look to Smart City, Ludhiana, the Punjab Government would be developing green belts and parks in different parts of the city. Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu today said work on several green belts and parks has already started.

Green belts would be developed at Satguru Ram Singh Park, near Lodhi Club, near Dr Ambedkar Chowk, near DAV Public School in BRS Nagar, on Deepak Hospital Road in Sarabha Nagar, on six acres in Haibowal and on 22 acres in Ludhiana East constituency, among others. — TNS
