Ludhiana, August 3

Mohali routed Ludhiana by 247 runs in the second group B league match of the Punjab State Inter-District Senior One Day Cricket Championship, played at Mohali today.

Batting first, hosts hoisted a decent total of 337 runs after losing eight wickets in which the main contributions were made by Gurkeerat Singh Mann (101), Gitansh Khera (61), Anshul Negi (57*) and Anshul Chaudhary (35).

For Ludhiana, Chintan Randhan captured three wickets and Yogjit Singh Kalsi grabbed two wickets while Aradhya Shukla, Ravi Kumar and Nehal Wadhera chipped in with one wicket each.

Target set by Mohali turned out to be an uphill task as Ludhiana surrendered meekly and their chase ended at 90 runs in 31.4 overs. Aradhya Shukla was the top scorer. He scored 18 runs.

For the winning side, Siddharh Kaur and Harpreet Brar took three wickets each whereas Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Jass Inder Singh Baidwan and Ramandeep Singh claimed apiece each.
