He said a tender will be opened on Monday and the work will be completed within a year. Arora made the announcement while interacting with industrialists at Hotel Hyatt Regency.

Speaking to the media after the session, he said the state government will roll out a new industrial park policy within a month. Under the policy, large industrial parks spread across at least 25 acres will be developed in the state, the minister added.

Describing the policy as a game changer, he said industries shifting to these parks will get major incentives. Industries adopting zero liquid discharge norms will be eligible for incentives up to Rs 10 crore and new units will get 100 per cent incentives, Arora added.

On a query about law and order in Focal Points and Industrial Areas, the minister said 29 new Police Control Room (PCR) vehicles have been added and patrolling in these areas will be further intensified.

On mixed land use areas, Arora said the state government was close to finding a permanent solution.
