11 more fall prey to dengue

As many as 11 more cases of dengue have been reported from Ludhiana district. With this, the number of dengue cases has gone up to 200.

Civil Surgeon Dr Parwinder Pal Singh Sidhu has asked people to keep their surroundings clean and to not let water get accumulated in and around their houses. “Mosquitoes need only one spoonful of water to breed. Residents should clean their coolers and flower pots every week as one week’s time is required for a mosquito to develop into an adult mosquito,” said Dr Sidhu. — TNS
