A district-level science exhibition for the students belonging to classes VI-VIII was held at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Cemetery Road, here today. Students of schools from all the 19 blocks in the district took part in the event, themed ‘Science and Technology for Sustainable Future’. There were seven subthemes, including food, health and hygiene, transport and communication, natural farming, disaster management, mathematical modelling and computational thinking, waste management, and resource management. A total of 133 students took part in the exhibition, presenting both working and static models.
