Three employees of a petrol station near the Jalandhar bypass were attacked by several persons after an altercation over the alleged less filling of petrol in their motorcycle this morning.
The accused also ransacked the pump. Three employees, Amrik, Sandeep and Durgesh, suffered minor injuries in the incident and were rushed to hospital.
Police begin probe
- The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras of the petrol station and the police were scanning the footage to identify the accused.

An employee of the station, Narinder, said two bike-borne persons came to get petrol filled in their bike for Rs 100 and when the pump employee filled the fuel, the bike-borne men started arguments with him, saying he had filled less fuel.
The police said the accused started arguments with him and threatened the pump employee with dire consequences. A few minutes later, the accused came along with their aides and attacked three employees.
The Salem Tabri police initiated a probe in the matter.
