3 two-wheelers, mini-truck stolen

Two motorcycles, one scooter and one mini-truck were reported stolen in the city.

Dr Naveen Sikka, a resident of Noorwala Road, has reported theft of his Activa scooter (PB-10FS-7419) from outside his residence-cum-clinic on May 22. He said he had parked the two-wheeler outside his clinic during the day. When he went out at night to take the scooter inside the house, it was missing. Dr Sikka said, along with the scooter, Rs 10,000 and a gold ring were stolen from his cash box kept in the clinic. The thieves also took away Rs 80,000 and his driving licence kept in the glove box of the scooter. The police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC.

Bike stolen from near police post

A motorcycle (Hero Splendor, PB-10GJ-2480) was stolen from outside the Atam Nagar police post when its owner Kishan Singh, a resident of Janta Nagar, was on duty at the police post for distribution of ration on Sunday. When Kishan Singh came out around 2 pm, the motorcycle had disappeared. Another motorcycle (PB-91B-4728) was reported stolen from outside the Jamalpur cremation ground by one Monu, a resident of Mahaveer Colony on Bhamian Road. The police had registered cases under sections 379 of IPC.

Truck stolen from colony at Moti Nagar

Meanwhile, a mini-truck (PB-10ES-2564) was stolen from outside a house in Baba Gajja Jain Colony, Moti Nagar. The owner of the vehicle, Narinder Kumar, reported to the police that the mini-truck parked outside the house on the night on May 16 had been stolen at night. A case under section 379 of the IPC was registered by police.
