A 32-year-old youth, Gagandeep Singh, was shot dead in Manuke village, Ludhiana district, allegedly over his support for a local kabaddi player.

The incident occurred near the Grain Market on the outskirts of the village, with the assailants firing shots at Gagandeep after a brief altercation. He was taken to Civil Hospital Jagraon, where he succumbed to his injuries.
