5-wicket victory for Crystal Club

A fine spell of bowling by Divyam (6 for 14) enabled Crystal Club to defeat SC Academy by five wickets in the ongoing first edition of the GNSA Cup (U-14) Cricket Tournament at the Jassian Road grounds here today.

Crystal Club won the toss decided to bowl first. SC Academy could only score 61 runs in 22.4 overs. Shivam Verma (38 runs) was the main run scorer for the side.

For Crystal Club, Divyam was the wrecker-in-chief, who took six wickets. Mankaranvir Singh grabbed two wickets and Pratyush got one.

Crystal Club achieved the target in 25 overs after losing five wickets. Yuvraj remained unbeaten on 30 runs, while Rehaan Attri scored 10 runs.

For the losing side, Shivam Verma got four wickets and Ritesh Ranjan claimed one. Divyam was declared the player of the match.
